Ta Pinu Divine Mother Cathedral

Transmission & Guided Meditation 2022

Last Sunday, I visited The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’ Pinu, on Gozo, Malta.

This has been a holy site dedicated to the Divine Mother since 1545, originally there was a small limestone chapel where the Basilica we see today now stands. Apparently the site gained notoriety as a healing site, when a woman heard the Virgin Mother call to her, and asked her to pray at her shrine.

I imagine long before that at one time in Gozos ancient past the land where this Basilica now sits was probably a place of strong earth energies, and even possibly a place where the mother goddess was worshiped by the ancient peoples of Maltas Megalithic Temple Culture. Evidenced by how many Goddess figurines have been found at the Temples.

I also feel at one time this must of been a more powerful water way, with a stream or a spring.

The land here undulates and curves in beautiful ways, and most certainly has the feeling of Earth Speaking…

Ta Grammar Hill from the Rose Garden at Ta Pinu

When I first arrived I discovered that the church wouldn’t open for a few hours, so after doing a whirling spiral dance in the rose garden, I headed up the enigmatic hill opposite the Ta' Pinu sanctuary called, Ta' Għammar hill, which has an interesting upward vortex energy about it.

One can follow a winding path up to the top, along which are placed impressive white statues depicting the stations of the cross. At the top of this hill is a sweet little shrine, where a poster of the Ta Pinu Madonna, is placed. People go there and leave flowers and prayers and ask for blessings.

After a vigorous climb up the hill, which offered wonderful 360 views, I came to the chapel and found the shrines Altar in quiet a messy state, so the first thing I did was tend the Altar and clean things up, then I offered incense and flowers, rose water, and a candle. After my session at the shrine, I explored the top, of the hill, and enjoyed some great views and I was blessed by the flight of a hawk.

Then I wandered down the hill, and now that the Basilica was open, it was time to go inside for more prayers and to weave the work I did outside with the shrine inside….Where I sat in front of the main painting “The Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu”, for a long peaceful time, feeling peaceful and praying for peace. The Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu painting dates back 400 years. The artwork was commissioned by Pinu Gauci and painted by Amadeo Perugino Bartolomeo in 1619.

All in all, a beautiful, powerful, special day with one of the main messages I received was "The stories we tell ourselves shapes our lives and how and what we say has greater impact then we tend to think."

*My intention for sharing this location in this series, is because it is a unique and beautiful site in the sacred landscape of Gozo, both Geographicly, Historically and is quite impressive Architecturally both outside and inside. I definitely recommend visiting if you are on the island.

On a deeper level it is an invitation to weave a meaningful and healing connection between all the various aspects of the Divine Feminine, finding the song lines in our own souls, between an ancient past in which the Mother Divine Earth Goddess was honored and the way this energy has carried thru in reverence for Mother Mary the Madonna. Feeling thru the heart of connection rather than separation.

The symbolism of the Sacred Feminine has made a long an ancient journey, and I find it to be a weave of consciousness that is like a vast transference through out time.

Like a Rose Unfolding, each petal revealing something new, a new face, a new metaphor, a new archtype, a new vibration. Yet essentially when you get to the heart of the Rose, there is one core Rose Hip, that again holds all the seeds, for yet again another unfolding of a multitude of more Roses.

"The Goddess doesn’t enter us from outside; she emerges from deep within. She is not held back by what happened in the past. She is conceived in consciousness, born in love, and nurtured by higher thinking. She is integrity and value, created and sustained by the hard work of personal growth and the discipline of a life lived actively in hope."

Before you Begin the Meditations:

Please find a comfortable quiet place in private to sit or lay, where you can deeply relax and receive the transmission undisturbed. Perhaps prepare a small altar with a candle, or bowl of water and some flowers. Take a few minutes to energetically connect with these sacred islands, and with the great seascape of the Mediterranean Sea, consider your intentions for your time spent with the recording and what you might like to receive while listening. When complete, if you like you can offer the water and flowers to the land where you are.

The Guided Meditation & Intro:

The “Intro” is intended to give you little overview of this location as well as to set the intention for the transmission.

The Guided Meditation takes us quite deep following the path of the spiral and an the ancient waters pathways into a Zero Point chrysalis, supporting us in an internal transformation to more fully receive the nourishment and messages from the Divine Mother and the Sacred Landscape itself. Please find a quite place to receive this meditation and allow yourself to go deep with it. Don’t worry if you fall asleep… it is very deep, you will still receive the message and medicine of this transmission.

You can download these recording here, or return to this page as often as you like.

"Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts. There is symbolic as well as actual beauty in the migration of the birds, the ebb and flow of the tides, the folded bud ready for the spring. There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature ... the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after the winter."

-Rachel Carson

The Photos:

We join with the Earth and each other.

To celebrate the seas

To rejoice in the sunlight

To sing the song of the stars

We join with the Earth and each other.

To recreate the human community

To promote justice and peace

To remember our children

We join with the Earth and each other.

We join together as many and diverse expressions of one loving mystery:

for the healing of earth and the renewal of all life.
