After my visit to Ggantija, the alignment between the Ggantija Temples Site and the Rotunda Church in Xewkija was so obvious I knew I wanted to take more time to explore what messages I might be able to intuit from the site, and learn more about the Ley Lines connecting the sites.
Plus I had heard rumors that there had once been a Megalithic Temple in the location where the Church now stands. By chance I was shown a map/diagram on the wall of the church that included an outline where the temple used to be, and with a little research on the internet, I found out more interesting info.
"Although the present church at Xewkija is new, it is built on the same site as previous churches in the centre of the village, which is claimed in the local guide book by Mgr. Dr. Anthony Gauci, Gozo - A Historical and Tourist Guide to the Island (1969), to be the first to be inhabited in Gozo. The book also reveals that up until the seventeenth century a large dolmen was visible on the site of the present church. In the new moon energies on the evening of October 6th 2021, I set out walking from my house to the Rotunda Church, where I was drawn to sit on my favorite bench to make the meditation recording, looking at the diagram again I realized "my" bench was in the area that the temple stones were found. I also could feel quite clearly the alignment with Ggantija, but also it dawned on me that the Dolman site of Ta' Cenc in the south west, was obviously part of this alignment too. So after I recorded the meditation, I did a little more research and found that other adventurers had already written about the alignment I was feeling. (see chart in the photos)

In this meditation, we journey to meet the "Orcale of Earth Dreaming, and receive codes of our personal missions or purpose in relation to these Temple Sites.
Interestingly today I found this myth regarding the connection with the Dolman at Ta' Cenc.
"The stones for the dolmen at Ta'Cenc were placed in their particular spot by a 'giant woman'. The same giant woman, who was of great strength, brought the stone for the Qala Menhir from Ta'Cenc to Qala. She is said to have used the stone to sit on and watch over her crops whilst resting from her work in the fields. She ate large quantities of beans while sitting thus, and sang songs of love and war. The legend says that one year a drought came, causing the bean crop to fail and the giant woman to lose her strength. She crept off to vanish in a cave beneath the hills of Gozo. This seems to be a very direct parable connecting the Earth Goddess of agricultural fertility to the megaliths. Interesting connections are beginning to show up between the sites. I have the feeling that this is just the beginning of more information and understandings to come…but it feels good to get started, and also just to open up and let the meditation imagery come in and flow. Perhaps prepare a small altar with a candle, or bowl of water and some flowers. Take a few minutes to energetically connect with these sacred islands, and with the great seascape of the Mediterranean Sea, consider your intentions for your time spent with the recording and what you might like to receive while listening. When complete, if you like you can offer the water and flowers to the land where you are.
