Dawn Four
Even as the pulse of day
Dawn Three
Dawn Three - 44 Sunrises
This morning I was tempted
To wander further from
the house…
over the small stone hills
patchworked with stone walls
My feet quickly found a path of which there are many, and I was drawn to where the dawn was breaking over the sea in the east.
A burning ball of clarity and solar insight
Tenderly, announcing the day with your rays.
Everything is movement and dawn light
As the mind clears and tensions fall away
in the distance the sounds of boats, and waves and the breeze.
Resting now at a high point,
the wind is kissing my skin,
nature asks me to deepen
and relax my senses
What a gift to wander at dawn and begin again.

44 Sunrise Meditations
This First Kiss...
It’s Dawn
the Sun is on the rise
Whether we are ready for this new day
or not...
the day begins.
The majesty grows as the suns
golden raise
embraces the land.
Each morning is like the first kiss, in the great love affair
An invitation to open to our unique place in the world.
What gifts await us in this new day
What unique song longs to sing thru your heart.
Watch your thoughts,
like your heart beat,
proclaiming the beat and resonance
for your day.
This is grace to begin again
With these Sunlight caresses on the land.
The Earth is humming.

Dawn Two - 44 Sunrises
Just before you made your morning ascent…
I was snoozing on the couch
with the cat
but then something shifted,
and I knew
it was time to go out
and greet the new day
Maybe it was the way the breeze changed its sound,
our how the bird songs increased
Slipping from the house I saw
your rays
Peaking thru soft clouds
Rising over the ancient stones.
The Ground is parched from August’s heat and this mornings clouds
are a welcome sign,
that soon moisture will return to the land.
I am standing here in awe at your magnificence ... Just grateful to be alive.
There is no going back in time
rather always the invitation
To be in the great presence of the impressions foot-printed in time
In this soft dawn light, I marvel at the beauty,
My eyes and heart drawn across the land
to the ancient settlement below and the old goddess temple just below.
The ancients are lingering on the veil,
Whispering secrets.
You hide your face in morning clouds, a few tremendous rays
peeking through reminding me of the heat to come.
With splendor
Your dance in the sky
for tells
change ... and I must move forward...
alive in the listening to the signs this New Day brings.
May we all keep humming with creation,
reminding us we have the choice to discover and create
better ways of living on this our Sacred Earth.
