Some morning Musings, on who I understand myself to be as an "artist" .
I experience myself primarily as a conduit
and I am definitely not an expert at anything.
Although I have been doing what I do for 22 plus years...
Most days, I still feel like a beginner.
for most of my life, I often supported myself by working as a nanny, and mothers helper, I started this work at 17, Mothers always had this sixth sense that they could place their babies in my arms and everything would be just fine
and the babies knew this too, and would always fall asleep in my arms.
So basically I am a professional at holding babies, and the "vibes" so everyone feels safe, embraced, fed, listened to, nourished, supported.
If you really know me, you know that's my superpower.
At some point I got it in my head I wanted to follow a mystical path of adventure and be an artist...
so now I make art and hold people and projects, and travel when called.
I like to feel free, and find expression.
I like to explore and share and create,
art, ideas, images, possibilities and horizons.
I prefer not to be "locked" into a singular archetype, or title.
Any titles (like priestess, mystic, etc) that I may use or attribute to myself, are loose, fluid, evolving, exploratory...
I feel the very nature of life is transitory and evolutionary…
i have always loved improv and exploration, and that's what I love about Art, there is so much room to express and dance when we tap into our creativity.
my intention is to create art that reminds us of these boundless possibilities, even when I am working with very detailed archetypes , symbols etc, or working on graphic design.
I see LOVE and CREATIVITY
as two elements
of the same one flame,
this flame fuels
our passions and inspiration.
my commitment as an artist,
is to bring LOVE into my creativity when creating art.
and to create art that infuses the world with a connection to Love, Beauty and Resonance.
my deepest wish is to continue to find authentic ways to keep dancing on the evolutionary edge of my souls deepest expression and purpose.
offering and sharing these gifts with the world
in service
as the sheer joy of expression!
